Hi Dora, I live in Danbury, CT, but I would go to the MA Vital Record Registry in Dorchester for you. I would have to charge mileage and expenses (usually one tank of gas plus tolls and cost of any records plus the $9/hr research charge VR charges) which I would estimate would be about $100. If that is something that you are interested in, let me know. MA Vital Records is quite nice - BMD for the entire state, all in orderly books that give the vol/pg of where the original records is. You just put that on a slip and turn it in when they call for them and they bring it out. You can then request a copy that is ready for you when you leave. Of course, you can order it online too.
