Jackie, she was last known of in 1946. The 1930 census tells me she was living then, too, but it does not tell me what happened to her after 1946. She isn't in the social security index, probably because she did not collect social security. Many people who died before the mid 1970's are not in the social security death index, including my grandfather, and both my father's parents. She also would not be in the social security death index under her last known name if she had remarried, which again has to be researched in the bmd records.
