Pat Dear PAT, I am researching a BYRON family who came from Ireland to Nova Scotia and settled in Roxbury. They had a tannery there. The family of JOSEPH BYRON & REBECCA GEORGIANNA JONES. Could there be a connection to the BYRON family you are researching. JOSEPH BRYON, d. 1884, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. I have a lot of research on this family on my website. See URL below. 3. Hi Jacki Sorry I failed to put the names on my last email. I am researching Flynn from South Boston in 1850 to about 1920. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there whose ancestors lived in Southie about that time and maybe the name Flynn may have come up somewhere along the line. I went onto your website and was absolutely awestruck. There was the Nurse family of Salem. Are you a descendent of Francis and Rebecca Nurse? Looks like you are from their son Samuel. I am from their daughter Mary who married John Tarbell. Do you have any more information on them or where I could get info on Mary and John Tarbell. This would be a big breakthrough for me. When your Byron ancestors went from Ireland to Nova Scotia, where in NS did their ship land? Do you know where they settled in NS? When? I am looking for a timeline and a place where some ships may have docked as I don't have the info on when my Flynns went to NS or where they lived there. Are you from JP or Roxbury now?
