    3. These are 'spot on', as a proper Brit would say. I rather like the New England accent above all others I have encountered. It derives from our old world heritage as well as our regional isolation, before the 20th century. Sadly, Vermont's peculiar, but lovable dialect is almost a thing of the past, while in some areas of Maine, Neh Hampshire and Conn. and RI, their unique voices are still evident. I rather like travelling from, say, Michigan to south Carolina to Maryland and as far south as Georgia and ' interfacing ' with my ' cousins' frum away. joe
