Val, Have you looked up all the Esty deaths before 1887 in NewEnglandAncestors.org yet, to try to locate some also buried at Mt. Benedicts? (You could limit searches to Worcestor or Suffolk county if there are too many hits.) Since Lancaster is in Worcester County, I would doubt her death would be listed in the Boston papers. And I believe you will only find just the one death record, since it appears she died where she lived. But keep in mind that town or city records can be a little different from the state, so you might consider emailing the town clerk for Lancaster and asking them if they can check that death record (give them all the info), and does it provide any extra information. (For example, they might have the actual street address of death, which might match the daughter's in 1880.) And write to the public library to ask about the local newspapers for that time period and what you are looking for. I have people buried at Mt. Benedict too, but have not been able to get further info. Here's hoping someone might have better how-to info for us on that!
