    1. [MASUFFOL] Big thanks to Sue for NEGHS corrections
    2. Steve & Anne Lanning
    3. Sue, My (our--those of us who use the NEHGS VR database--) hugest of "thank you"s for your continued and persistent work at getting the links & images corrected. Your hours and hours of devotion are always appreciated whenever a search hits and the image is there & correct. I have asked you to straighten out a few links for me & you have always gotten to it in just a few days. So, thank you, thank you, thank you! (And, of course, keep at it!) Steve Lanning in MA

    3. Steve, Thank you. There is nothing more satisfying than telling someone that the image is available. The flip side is unfortunately frustrating, but there is finally some hope. The NEHGS was waiting until the "contractor" got going on it, but it became clear that wasn't really going to happen. Right now, volunteers have finished scanning the two missing marriages index volumes (1886-90 M to S surnames, 1891-95 F to K surnames). Volunteers will shortly begin processing them for addition to the database. This is wonderful news since they number around 80,000 names. The big problem will be the missing images. That will have to be done at the State Archives itself. If any of you can get to Boston to help out with any of the steps, email me and I'll pass on your contact information. If you can't get to Boston, but would be willing to speed up my work by checking image availability and whether the entry is on the page, email me. Knowing that I can just go through 500 entries repairing a volume number, for example, and someone else will check all of them to find the 20 or 30 that are still incorrect, would be a great help. Best of luck to all of you and may the next page I fix be the one that breaks down your brick wall.
