She removed to Massachusetts were she and her husband had the children. Then Hannah died in 1834 in Boston. Not sure about Michael as I have no further info on him. I am researching the Bridgeo name which is found mostly in the Marblehead area of Massachusetts. The only info I had on Hannah Bridgeo Moakler was a death record which gave a date and her age but no info on where she died or if she had any children. I have only recently found that she had several while searching on genalogy websites. Would like to share what we know. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Catherine had 2 children - Agnes and William. Agnes was married and had no children. I don't have much info on William - I do have pictures of both Agnes and William. Is Catherine a relative? Margaret, since you mentioned the on-line archives at the Boston Globe, I decided to buy a one-day pass to that site. Well worth it! I found a funeral notice for "my" Jeremiah J. Hennesey on February 21, 1925. (This is not the same Jeremiah Hennessey I had found in the Zimmer Index). It gives his address on the same street where they were living in the 1920 census, and it gives the maiden name Mary O'Brien for his wife, which I know to be correct. It also indicates that Mary died "several months" before Jeremiah, so I can pretty confidently place her date of death in late 1924. (This means the Mary Hennessey I found in the Zimmer Index could be the right person. I'll need to follow up on that, probably ordering the microfilm through my library). Now that I'm confident on Jeremiah's date of death, I will order his death certificate. The notice gives the name of the church where the funeral was held, but does not specify burial location. I am also planning to write the church to request a copy of any death records. Will the death certificate specify burial location? I would really like to visit their graves if am in Boston again. Am looking for any information, especially a death date, place & cemetery, for Richard "Dick" Horrocks who was living in Chelsea, Suffolk Co., Mass. in 1942. He was born 3 July 1894 in St. Louis, Missouri. Last record of him in Missouri is 1920 St. Louis census. After that he drops out of sight until he turns up in Massachussetts in 1942. Any information on him would be appreciated. http://carrollscorner.net/Horrocks-Richard.htm Esther M. I have found them in the 1920 Census. The oldest daughter, Margaret, is my great-grandmother: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=1920usfedcen&h=39296623&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pt&ssrc=pt_t26556293_p1867888566_kpidz0q3d1867888566z0q26aidz0q3d15852808495z0q26pgz0q3d32771z0q26pgPLz0q3dpidz0q257caid What I have been trying to figure out is when Jeremiah and Mary died, and where they were buried. Based on things I remember my grandmother saying, I believe they probably died in the mid-1920's. I also have not been able to find them in the 1930 Census, which would be consistent with a 1920's date of death. I stumbled across the Zimmer Index to Massachusetts newspapers: http://www3.websearchstudio.net/scripts/ws.dll?websearch&site=Zimmer Searching there, I found the obituaries for Jeremiah Hennessey and Mary Hennessey which I posted in my intial query. I am hoping to get a copy of those obituaries to confirm whether they are the same Jeremiah and Mary Hennessey. If they are the same prople, I'm hoping to learn where they are buried, and glean any other clues I could follow up on to learn more about them. I appreciate any insight or advice on how I should proceed. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
