Ann Thanks for responding to my info. request, The Alice Masters was my grandmother, she was married to John Fennell, they were married in Liberty Co. George, Everything I "know" about Mary Masters is given in my initial posting. I suspect that she lived in or around Alexandria, Va before marrying Thomas Hutchinson in 1842. There was a man named Solomon S. Masters in the 1840 and 1850 Alexandria censuses, a seaman, I believe. Might he be her father? Don't know. I haven't yet looked up those census records for more detail. Also there was a William Masters listed in the 1827 D.C. city directory. (Thanks, Gini) Related? Don't know.
