Hi George, I am not sure there is a connection, my Alice Lemina Masters was born in 1887 in Wollongong New South Wales, daughter of Alexander George Masters & Frances Eliza Campbell. Alice married Thomas Carkeet on 3/7/1907 in Sydney N.S.W., they had the following children Thomas Israel, Alexander James, Alice Mary & Ellen Frances, I believe they moved to Queensland. Alexander George Masters was born about 1856 in Windsor Nova Scotia, son of John Matthew Masters & Lemina [ Lemina ] Mosher, other known children to John and Lemnia were, Edward born abt 1846 & Albert born abt 1853, all born in Nova Scotia. I do not know who John Matthew Masters parents were.
