(which is not far from Independence). He was born in Ky. and in the 1850 census was 29. In the 1880 census he was 61. In both census combined he had children: Mary, Charlotte, Columbus, Benjamin, Hester, and Effie. April 6, 1891 Chillicothe Constitution newspaper says: "Burrell Masters, a pioner settler of Grundy Co., died last Fri., age 72". I have a gr gr gr grandfather that is Talton Masters.
