    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: GORDON MASTERS MORGAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fly.2ACEB/413.1 Message Board Post: Hi Judy, I have an estate settlement from Cape Girardeau Mo. dated 19 March, 1857. It mentions the following info- 1. Henry MORGAN dec'd..... 2. Wife Nancy MORGAN dec'd... 3. Nancy MASTERS... mother 4. Davidson H. MORGAN... 5. Lucinda GORDON... 6. James M. MORGAN brother from Scott Co Mo... 7. witnesses- William J. COX, Robert A. PATTERSON, Charles C. GORDON. ..... My line is descended from Davidson H. MORGAN who I found in Cape Gira. Co., Mo. 1850 and 1860. From there he took his family to Illinois where they remained. Can you tell me how this Nancy MASTERS is related to these other people? Is it Henry's mother? My Davidson is listed to have been born 1822 NC. I have never found anything on the Nancy MASTERS in the census' nor Lucinda GORDON. Have you a MASTERS who married a MORGAN? I would gladly send a copy of the estate settlement if you think you can find a connection. NOTE- STODDARD CO. MO. 1850 lists a MOSES MASTERS 54 NC in the same household with Nancy Allen 46 NC and Lucinda MORGAN age 17 Mo. Is this familiar to you? Hope any of this helps..Sincerely, Kathy Taylor
