His brothers were Captain Robert Masters 1786-1867, John 1801-1894 and Thomas D Masters - 1803 - 1892 and Irvine Masters 1823 - 1865. Their grandfather was a native of Paris, France. The grandfather had two daughters and a son - Daniel Masters. Could we be looking for the same Samuel Masters?
