Sandra -- my name is June, I live in OK but a native TEXAN. My maternal grandmother was a Masters and her mother was a full blood indian, however, I do not what tribe. I am guessing probably Cherokee, however, I do not know for sure. In Talequah, OK, east of Tulsa is the Cherokee Tribal headquarters and council. You can trace with their help, the possible ancestry in the Cherokee tribe -- which I intend to do soon as find a little free time. My mother had very definite indian features, high cheek bones, slight curved nose, always tanned easily, black hair and eyes. Also both her sisters and a brother had those features.
