Tracy Lee Masters Tracy Lee Masters left this world on May 31, 2003, to be with her Heavenly Fahter, her loving husband, Thurston and her precious son, Larry. Tracy was born June 20, 1916 in Oxford, Arkansas to George Walter Bursey and Mary Zelma Royles Bursey. During her time here with us, she enjoyed being a preacher's wife and a mother to five children. Tracy also enjoyed flower gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Tracy and Thurston were married for 59 years and retired to Bentonville in 1985 where they became active in the church which he had once pastored. The loved ones she left behind are Thad Masters and wife, Barbara of Russellville, Tommy Masters and wife, Sandra, of Albertville, Ala., Sue Tonsing and her husband, Marvin of Bentonville, and Joy Moser and her husband, Jimmy of Bentonville. She was also loved by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends was Monday, June 2, 2003 at the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel in Bentonville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3 at the First United Methodist Church of Bentonville with Pastors Dennis Spence and Ben Hines officiating. Burial followed at the Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of the Callison-Lough Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Bentonville, 201 NW 2nd, Bentonville, AR 72712. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Masters.
