Michael's grandmother was Anna Masters, daughter of Samuel and Amelia. According to Michael's cousin, (haven't been able to verify yet), Samuel's parents (Samuel and Margaret) came to this country from Paris. Margaret was English. They came over in 1833 and their son Samuel was born on the ship. Exact birthdate for Samuel is 2/9/1833. The first Samuel died 5/5/1870 and is buried in Kendrew Cemetary in the Dekalb area of upstate NY. Who do you have as the children of Samuel and Amelia? We're still very new to this, as Michael had no knowledge of any of his family until 2 years ago when we found his aunt in NY by way of the Internet and we have been visiting up there for the past 2 summers. We visited the cemetery in Hailesboro, NY where a good many of them are buried. Looking forward to hearing from you-I tried sending by your listed email address but it said the account was closed.
