Nelson. I believe that he and I may be distant relatives but when I sent him an email, the email was returned to me as unknown user. I hoping that someone on this message board knows Thomas and can pass the following information on to him and ask him to contact me. Some of the information that I have matches his while other information is quite similar. According to my information, Oline Bendiksdatter, daughter of Bendik Hermundsen and Johanne Gutormsdatter, was born on 26 September 1859 in Vik i Sogn, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. On 12 July 1880, she married Nels L. Nelson in Lake Mills, IA. Nels was born on 29 April 1853 in Leikanger?, Norway. Oline passed away on 18 March 1945. Oline and Nels had 11 children who were apparently all born in Emmet, IA. Their children are as follows: Lewis B. Nelson - b. 29 May 1881, d. 5 May 1971, m. Nelson - b. 3 Mar 1887, d. 19 July 1955, m. Emma Egertson on 28 Apr 1915 Iver Nelson - b. 28 May 1889, d. 4 Apr 1940, m. 1) Ella Wolden in 1915 and 2) Adeline Steineke in 1923 Sarah Nelson - b. 30 June 1891, m.
