If you have approximate dates for John Albert Masters, I might be able to help you find out something about him. I'm not sure where you live, but there are still Masters living in Whitfield County. We do have a historical society here and I have copies of the Official History of Whitfield County. There are quite a few Masters listed in the newest edition, but I have not found John Albert as yet.
