I won't be shutting down until next Thursday, but will be glad to snail mail La. is not to far from Washington County, Alabama, where Minnie Masters came to visit my grandmother Minnie Lee Masters Waldrop. I live in Columbus, Georgia, Muscogee County. All my paternal ancestors are from Washington County, Alabama. Daddy left Mobile, Alabama looking for work during the depression. When he found worked, he worked and retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company in Alabama and inched his way up to Georgia, while working on the Line -gang......plantind the creole polls and strung the lines........which was alright, because mama, lived in Columbus, Georgia. That is how we ended up Georgia. I and my oldest sister are first born Georgians. My millde sister was born in Mobile, Alabama. Let me know if you want me to snail mail. Sandra Minnie Masters is my grandmother's ( Minnie Lee Masters Waldrop) grandmother. Betsy Masters wrote: >Hi Sandra, I would like to see the tin type picture if you could scan and >email it to me. Hi Sandra, Yes, if you don't mind I would like to see the picture if you can send one. Address: 150 Plunkett Rd., Jonesboro, La. 71251. I have several tin type pictures from my grandmother's old trunk but don't have names to go with them. It's a long shot in the dark but miracles still happen. Don't have much on my ancestors. I know my great grandfather, William Jackson Masters, was born in Al. about 1830, he married Sarah Amanda Bryant in Shelby, Co. Al. in 1851 and they were in La. in the 1860 census. Three of their children were born in Al. and I have some old envelopes where they received mail from the Childersburg area in the 1880's but I believe they were from the Bryant's. Thanks, Sonny Betsy is my wife and I just use her email address. She's not into geneolgy. Waiting to here from you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra W. Hi Sandra, Received the picture today, sorry to say we don't have a match. I knew it was a long shot but thought it worth the chance. Do you want the picture back?? If not I'll file it for future reference. I've got to do some more looking on the info for Minnie of Sabine Parish, I know its here. The name Manasco keeps coming to mind, can't remember if that was her maiden name or if she married one. I'll find it and get back to you. Thanks again, Sonny ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra W.
