George was born abt. 1865 in England. His parents imigrated to America & arrived at the port of NewYork on March 23, 1871. (Pg. 113 M Melx #45). The family was naturalized Aug 24, 1876 @ Lackawanna County Courthouse in Scranton, PA. George is the son of John "Jack" Masters & Mary Ann (Westlake) Masters. His occ. Coal Laborer. According to unpublished notes/letters. he died before he reached his early 20's. He was apparently handicapped as his older sister had to care for him because of his legs (1885-1890 yr. died)? I would very much like to know exact date he died & where he is buried in Scranton. Also, if he was married. He was 1 of 16 siblings. I can only show 10 of those children who were born betw. 1853 & 1874. John, Jr., Elizabeth, William, George, Samuel, James, Emma Jane, Mary Jane, Virginia! (need all info on her) & Wesley.
