    1. [MASTERS] Bertha Lillie Masters - Pickens Co., SC
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fly.2ACEB/556 Message Board Post: My half-sister met her grandmother for the first time the other day. My half-sister was under the impression that her great-grandmother's name was Bertha Lillie Masters (who married Abner Oscar Chastain), when in fact, Bertha's daughter (who just turned 90) states that her mother's name was Bertha Mae Masters and NOT Bertha Lillie Masters. My half-sister's grandmother, who is quite spry for her age!!!, gave her some papers containing family information. If you are related to this family, please e-mail me direct and I will provide you with more info. Just wanted to pass this along! -Dana

My father was Floyd Walker (1916-1980), who had a sister Elsie. Unfortunately the family was not close, and very little information was passed on. However, the name Fike also rings a bell. All I know is that Elsie had at least one son named Cliff Archer, who was in Sheridan for a few years. Floyd and Elsie had other sisters, but not sure if they were half-sisters or step-sisters. The one I remember was Fern, who was living in Kentucky.
