Hallo fellow listers - my name is Kerry Barter and I live in Southport, in Queensland, Australia. I am endeavouring to add another branch to my family tree and am seeking the assistance of fellow listers. The information I have at the moment is very sketchy: John MASSEY (b cir 1839) married Margaret RYAN (b cir 1837 from Ireland) Children are as follows: Thomas Francis MASSEY (b cir 1878) Ellen MASSEY (b cir 1865) Margaret MASSEY (dcd) Anne MASSEY (b cir 1868) William MASSEY (b cir 1870) Margaret MASSEY (B CIR) 1871) I do know that Thomas Francis MASSEY came to Queensland, Australia where he married Ellen Maud GOODMAN (b cir 1879) I have been told that a Thomas MASSEY left London on board the SUFFOLK on the 20th May 1874 and arrived in Rockhampton, Queensland on the 14th November 1874. His age is listed as 19 years. I am afraid that that is all the information I have at this point in time. I have checked the 1881 British Census for the family but have had not luck in finding a John and Margaret MASSEY plus children. Any assistance would be most gratefully appreciated.
