I have found the above on RG13/5289 F101 p82, correctly indexed from the enumerator's sheet, but am reluctant to accept it at face value, because in at least two sheets, it is the only entry without a full first name. I am hoping it is my long lost great uncle William Arthur Massey, as the entry is correct in all other respects. The initial definitely looks like the writewr's "M" although a scribbled "W" can look similar, there is no "W" for comparison. Thehouseholder's name looks like Halstrap, age 52, born York. Is it likely that the enumeratorcould not read his notes when he got back home/to the office? Does anyone claim M Massey? (W.A. Massey was in Chester for 1881/1891). There was no M. Massey birth registered in Wrexham around the correct date, although William himself was registered as Arthur Donald Massey
