I want to thank Betty for her kind words about my book. I do want to correct one thing; the book does not contain all the info available in the NC Archives on Wake Co. Masseys. Court records, a wonderful source of info, are specifically not included in the book, partially because some of them have already been extracted. And there are other lesser known records like bastardy bonds, guardianship records, etc. which are also not included. But these are the primary research records: census, tax lists, deeds, school records, wills, estates (which are extracts due to the length of the records), marriage, divorce and death records.
