    2. To Theron: Jasper Newton Young had 3 wives. His first, Margaret E. Massey, was in the family of Joseph Massey (1808 NC) and Catherine Ray. Margaret and Jasper married 1856 Leake Co. MS. They were living in Calcascieu Parish, LA in 1860. From about 1866 /1867 on, they were living in Polk Co. TX. Margaret died in Mar 1871. Jasper married Frances Peebles, and then Mary Ann McKey. I have not done the research on all the children, but several others have shared with me, so I do have a list of all the Young children including Emma. My grandfather George Montgomery Massey was a much younger 1/2 brother to Margaret Massey Young.
