I am seeking information about the parents and siblings of Joshua Massey, b. abt. 1761-1770 in possibly North Carolina. He m. Nancy Piety August 18, 1790 in Nelson Co., KY, and they had at least four children before Nancy died: Mary, William, Sarah, and Elizabeth. Joshua then married Sarah (Sally) Whiteside, date and place unknown, and they had Catharine, Nancy, Thomas, Roseanna, John, Seth, and Minerva. It is possible that Catharine might be his daughter by Nancy rather than Sarah. Joshua was an early settler in the St. Louis area, acquiring land before the Louisiana Purchase. He died in 1832 in St. Louis Co., MO. Barbara in Georgia
