Hi. I hit a brick wall on David Madison Massey (b. circa 1830, Hardin Co.) and have put the Massey's aside for the time being. I still monitor the list emails in case I can help others, or be helped along. David married Susan Emeline Venable one son, Thomas Wilburn m. Margaret Austin daughter, Hannah Emeline possibly married T. J. Surratt. The Surratt's lived next door to a Thomas and Sarah Massey in one census report, but the trail stops for me there. In 1860 census, Jane Massey (72 years old) lives by Thomas and Susan with a Pertinus Massey (38 years old). In 1850, a Louisa Massie lived with her who was possibly a "Bookout, or Booker." Jane may have been Enoch's wife, but I live in Michigan and don't travel much these days with work and all, so I can't pop in and research old records too easily.
