My great aunt above was at Castle Howard as a live-in dressmaker in the 1901 census. I think she probably married locally, as I remember my father many years ago talking of visiting an aunt in Yorkshire and the meals which were served, particularly serving Yorkshire pudding as a separate first course. I can not find a likely marriage or death for many years afterwards, has anyone spotted her? Donald Massey
