    3. Re your message below: Date: Fri, 9 Dec 2005 11:50:40 -0600 From: "Anna Farris" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Last Query for the Year Information on my Great Grandfather: John H. Massey born Aug. 25th 1856 Mississippi married at least twice due to ages of children on 1900 census Caddo Parish, Louisiana bought land there in 1905 but sold it before 1910. He moved before 1910 when the census was taken and died in Arkansas where he is buried in Enon Church Cemetery, Miller County. Death date Feb.1st, 1910 Married first wife unknown Sarah Jane Burney (b. 1875 Attala Co.,Ms.) around 1890. Children: both marriages C.A. E. (female) V. (female) E. A. (female) Ola (this name may be a corruption of the name Viola) married J. J. Harrington Homer (my grandfather) 1894 married Eva C. Jackson Walter 1898 married Annie Jackson, sister of Eva Minnie 1899 - 1900 Richard 1903 Benjamin 1905 Wilmer 1907, married Homer A. Kirby Please provide your information on the counties and states you know that all the children lived in. I believe John's parents were Thomas and Charlotta Massey of MS, but I would like further information. Also since it is likely that John married at least the second time in Attala Co. MS, you should check the marriage records there as his parents are almost certainly listed on the marriage license since the license was issued after the Civiil War. It is also possible that there was a death certificate and/or obituary in Arkansas. I have found only one Massey living in Miller Co. Arkansas on the 1910 census, so he is probably a relative of John's. Carla Tate
