I would want to have Joseph Massey. b ca 1690 in Brunswick Co. VA. for Thanksgiving. I would ask him who he was married to ( to whom him was married). Was it Elizabeth Lee or Elizabeth Lanier or both or neither. Which children belonged to which wife and what was their birth order. And then I would ask him who his mother was, and his grandparents. And then I would want to knew all about his life. He would not be able to eat anything because I would have him busy talking. I would be sure to have a recorder so I would not forget exactly what he said and what his voice sounded like and what kind of an accent he had. and I would want to know if he knew some of my other ancestors who lived in Brunswick Co.
