My grdfather's mother was Rebecca Massey from Ohio. Possibly near Cleveland. She married Taplan G Fisher, who I think was from WVA or VA originally. They had 3 children, Charles Raymond, b. abt. 1865, a daughter Frances Faye, b. after that and another daughter who I was told went by the nickname of Molly. They lived in WVA and moved to Ohio when the children were older. Only Molly stayed in WVA and married there. Charles married Josephine Heinzenburg and had my Mom and her brother Raymond. Sometime after 1911 Charles and Jo divorced and my Mom went to Cleveland to live with her Dad. He later married a woman named Belle Malle and they moved to Hialeah, Fl and they died there much later. I had found the death certificates of Charles and Belle and that's how I found out his parents names. I searched Ancestry.com and found Rebecca's parents but have lost that info(we were in Hurricane Katrina). I also found Charles' parents names on his death certificate and found them in the census, don't remember what year. I haven't been able to afford to subscribe to Ancestry.com for some time so haven't been able to search further. Anyone on this list have these names in their research? If so, could you please share with me you info. I would so very grateful. I searched for Charles' info for almost 10 yrs before finding him. Thanks so much. VA who went to Goochland Co. , appear to be from the c1688 emigrant to New Kent Co., Peter Massie. And this book does indeed show Benjamin5 1768 of Adams Co., OH who m.
