Elizabeth LOVEJOY William MASSIE b 1745 Goochland Co, VA- m. Frances ADAMS Family stories say that some Massey cousins changed spelling (Massie) because their mail got mixed up. Patti, The spelling of Massey and Massie, started with the Census Taker's. Some people didn't know how to spell.
