I am searching for info on Masseys from the area around Gallatin Co.IL or Posey Co IN. Anywhere within a 100 mile radius I suppose. All I have is that my Great grandfather, Charles E. Massey came from that area, "near where the rivers fork". He married a Donia Matney. I have no dates other than 1885-1898. Another set of Masseys I am researching also came from the area and may be related. They married Stikes or Stites and a lady whose last name was Joachim, those are about all I have to go on at the moment. I'm waiting for more info from family.
