I have just started working on my husband's Massay lines. Prior to this week, all we had was from a pamphlet about the Cavender Family. I have started with the Texas census and now I am checking the TN. This is what I have: James Madison Massay b. abt 1825 in SC(also listed as TN and NC) father b. SC, mother b.TN md 1) ? probably in TN. [ I so far have four candidates hopefully the TN census will help determine if any are possibilities.
