Hello to the list, I'm new here as I have found a Massie/Massey in my Line. This is what I have: Margaret Massey/Massie b-about 1830 in Lawrence County, Ohio. Married Hiram Estep/Eastip in Lawrence County, Ohio in 1850, and all there childern were born there. And there are: Manderville Estep b-1851, Pleasant Estep b1853, William Estep b-1855, Jesse Estep b-1857, and Andrew J. Estep b-1864. I come down from Andrew J. Estep,who married Anna Belle Meadows from Cable County, WV., Anna and Andrew Estep had 5 daughters. One was Valinda lou Estep who married William Otis VanCamp in Huntington, WV. in 1910. My mother was from this union and her name was Margaret Bell Vancamp who married John C. Price. I'm looking for info as to who the parents of Margaret Massie may be. I find on the 1850 census in Highland, Jackson Co. Ohio a William B. Massie 40 and his wife Cynthia (?) age 37, and I'm thinking this just may be Margaret's parents.
