Jacob Ivester - 30 - NC Nancy - 24 - SC/NC [1825/6] John - 5 - Ga Monroe - 3 - Ga Reuben - 1 - Ga Elizabeth - 1 - Ga Later census records show that they named their children: John A., Asa Monroe, Reuben, Elizabeth, Joseph H., William R. Jacob Foster, George W., & Benjamin Franklin. Later funeral records in Missouri indicate that Nancy's maiden name was MASSY. So I have been trying to find who her parents might be.>> I don't have a detailed lists of descendants, but most of the MASSEYs of Walker Co., GA were from Nathan (5) Massey, b. abt. 1762/3 and Catherine ----, son of Pettipool (4) and Celia ----, son of William(3) and Judith ----, son of Richard(2) Massey and Anne Pettipool. MASSEY GENEALOGY 2000 places Richard (2) as youngest son of Richard(1) Massey, the emigrant ancestor, of co. Chester, England and Charles City Co., VA. Nathan(5) had brothers named Warren, Eli, and ASA. Pettipool (4) was a first cousin and close neighbor in Franklin Co., NC around 1800 of my gggg gf Richard(4) Massey, son of Hezekiah(3). Good chance your Nancy was a gd of Nathan. Theron Smith.
