I wonder if some you fellow-Massey searchers would help with a quick question: If you have any Massey (or its derivative spellings) family members in ANY county of NC in 1860, would you send me a quick note about WHICH COUNTY that is. I am about to plough into the Federal Census records of each and every county in NC in search of the family of William P. Massey (last seen in Brown Co., TX in 1880), and if I had a list of counties where there actually were Masseys in 1860, it could save me many hours(days?) of scouring.
