The Boon family has done this. You can find the web site with the published results by doing a google search for Boon +DNA. The Stricklands are doing this now through Brigham Young University. I would urge you not to use Brigham Young University to do this study, because they are very disorganized in their administration of these projects at this time (if the Strickland project is any indication). The Boons used another source (a private organization I believe) other than Brigham Young University. I would also urge looking at doing both the male (Massey surname only) lines and the female descendancy lines (mitochondrial DNA) at the same time.
