Our ancestor was Nathan Massey, brother to Yearby (also on the DNA site). When looking at the various family genealogy info on the ancestry.com site, we see all kinds of conflicting information. If Noel was the father of Anderson, I sure could use any leads you might have. This is the 1st break I've had in years so am excited and want to get started in this direction! I believe her name was mary ( mollie ) massey and she lived at one time in Batesville AR married to Edward Clarence Greenhill. They had a son in Batesville - Henry Theopolis Greenhill and moved to Missouri. My infrormation has Mary born 1858, marrying an unknown Coontz in the 1880s then Edward C. Greenhill in the 1890s. My gg grandmother is Mary's daughter Rosa Lee Greenhill and I would like to hear from anyone who may know this family line. Mary had a brother ( Massey) who was a doctor in Poplar Bluff Missouri and I believe they lived with them for some time in the ealry 1900s. thanks dave Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Edward was a son of Hart Massey. Fred K Massey owned a department store and was well known in the comunity. you might want to do a google search on Fred K Massey. She recently came for a visit and would love to know more about her father's side of the family. We were able to trace the Gallipeau back to about 4 generations. Going back it would Nina, Milton, Charles, Charles, Charles. Nina married Woodrow Wilson Massey JR. They are her grand parents. We have not been able to find any information on Woodrow's father other than the because he is a JR that would make him a senior. We are know they came from Syracuse, New York. If anyone might have pictures or anything they would like to share. I am working on putting things I can find to gether and bind them so she can keep them. Nina has passed on and her grandfather is ill. There was a fire on the mountain so some pictures were lost or damaged. Thank you Fran.
