George W. MARTIN, b. 17 Jan 1811 maybe--for sure 1810-12 in VA, county unknown. He d. between 1880 & 1900 in Arthur, Douglas Co., IL & is buried there, tombstone has no dates on it. He m. 16 Feb 1836 Hamilton Co., OH to Sarah SENTENEY, daughter of William SENTENY & Rebecca CARLE of Springdale, Springfield Twp, Hamilton Co., OH. Sarah was b. 1818 in Springfield Twp, Hamilton Co., OH & d. 4 Feb 1915 Tuscola, Douglas Co., IL. George & Sarah's children were: Mary Ann MARTIN (my great grandmother) Rebecca Senteney MARTIN Cornelia "Neil" MARTIN William Senteny MARTIN James George MARTIN Samuel Lawrence MARTIN Alpheus L. MARTIN Ezra L. MARTIN John Franklin MARTIN Ella M. MARTIN Robert MARTIN I need to find George's parents. There was another George W. Martin b. about the same time & son of Spencer MARTIN in what is now WV. That has been proven to not be his father. Any help appreciated. Donna
