The problem is not posting your information, the problem is not using a viable subject line to describe that information. The words Roll Call are not informative. Put a name, date and geographical location in the subject line and it might ring a bell for someone. And for those of us to which it does not apply, we will not waste our time reading information that does not apply to our research. Please remember, some of us belong to multiple lists and we receive more than 100 msgs. a day. Clarity is the key whether you got 10 messages or 50. Let's follow the rules. They are good ones and were established from experience. ----- Original Message ----- From: <JLWLRob@aol.com> To: <MARTIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 14, 2002 5:51 PM Subject: Re: [MARTIN-L] Re "The Rules" > I may get kicked off this list but if we can't post info such as Julia did, > then how are we going to share our information as well as find out more about > our family?
