After a quick seach on rootsweb I find a William Constantine Martin married to a Martha Ann McQuown. His birthdate is listed as 1834 not 1824. This sure looks to be the same Martha Ann or Amanda McQuown married to a William C. Martin AND a Wiliam H. Martin ?????? This doesn't look right. Must admit that the children's names (also not the same) look better under William C. to match the maternal name of McQuown as one has that name as a middle name. Anybody know which William Martha really married? If she isn't the wife of William Hawkins Martin, that explains why Melissa G. does not appear as his daughter. I can see those bricks going up again. grrrr Can anyone shed any light on William Hawkins Martin born 1823 or 24 in Tennessee. Daughter, Melissa G. Martin Overstreet b. 1847 Missouri? Thanks! Margaret
