    3. Hi Jan! If this is actually "Gremling", which it probably is as my former father-in-law had advised it was spelt that way in the ould days, it would be an absolute riot!! My family are Martins and my childhood sweetheart whom I married (sadly divorced later) is a Gremling. Now, this Gramling-Martin union was born in 1812 and was problably indirectly responsible for the War of 1812 itself if the relationship between my Martins and Gremlings is any indication of that union!! My mum and my father-in-law, God rest them, would be spinning in their graves at the thought! What a fun "discovery", if it is such! Ah, stories I could tell you..... Thanks! Maureen > Absolutely.
