Lee Martin, born 26 Jan 1864 in Moody, Howell County, MO Father to all: Rev. Harvey Zadoc Martin Mother: possibly Rebecca Bates. There was some information given that Rebecca was Robert E. Lee's mother but not John Marion's mother. Since there is a large gap in years, it is possible that Zadoc was married twice, but we have found no information to prove that yet. The parents for Harvey Zadoc Martin are unknown at this time. The census records say they were born in SC. That is about all we know about this brick wall.
