I have received an email containing a file that looks like a virus from a _Linda.Asberry@worldnet.att.net. Is this person a member of this email list? Is this a real file? Thanks.
James B. Martin, If you are using a virus detection program such as AVG, when you save the "alleged" file to a temporary folder on your hard drive, the virus detection program will "hit" on the file if it's infected. And if it is, you of course would delete it. As far as Linda Asberry goes, she could be a member of this list and still not know if she transmitted a virus.
