Hi, Hope someone can help..... I've found a record on FamilySearch.org, of a marriage between Thomas Martin and Elizabeth Slinker in Bedford Co, VA, on 8 Nov 1799. Elizabeth was the daughter of Christopher Slinker and Catherine/Katherine (mnu) Does anyone know anything further about this couple? I'm trying to trace back on my 4g-gf Thomas Martin, of early 19th century Hawkins Co, TN. He was married to an Elizabeth, and both were born in Virginia according to later census records on their children. Their first known son was born in 1801.
