Stella, when you get stuck on the S.C. Martins and hit the wall, you might check Henrico Co. Virginia and its surrounding counties. Some of Jean Martain (John Martin) grandchildren moved to S.C. after living along the James River of Virginia for awhile. I know one of them was a Matthew Martin. I know this is not much help but at least it is a clue when you get completely stuck.
