Hi Patty, I will give you my MARTIN family as it stands at the moment; I really do not know whether our MARTIN's are the same family or not. William MARTIN was my gt.gt.grandfather and he was a farmer at Ballyblogh, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. the family later moved to Rooskey, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan. I do not have the name of his wife or siblings at this time but he would have been born around 1810 cc and had a son John MARTIN (b. 1840) at Ballyblogh, Co. Monaghan. John married Matilda Jane SCHOLES from Killyfuddy, Co. Monaghan in 1866 at Newbliss Presbyterian Church, Co. Monaghan.
