Karen, My husband, Terry, does not have an Isaac Martin. From the Warren County, Ohio 1850 census, it looks like Rhoda Martin married an Isaac SMITH....Thus, there is no connection. sorry. But that for writing. I have an Issac Martin who married for the second time to Sarahann Lewis Wilson Hagewood. He was her third husband. I do not know the date of his birth, but his wife was born in 1820. They married late in life, around the time of the civil war. They are listed on the 1870 and 1880 census in Avoyelles Parish, La. Another family of Martins lived nearby them. This was my ggg grandmother and she was married to Issac Martin until she died in 1904. He died about 10 years before her. I think that they both had children from previous marriages. I know that she did. They had one child together that died as a child, named Barbara Gayle Martin, according to our Family Bible. Do you think that this Issac Martin could be related to yours?
