I'm looking for anyone who may have information on an Owen Martin b. 1821 prob. in Va. (based on census information). He married Sarah Starnes in Meigs Co., Tn. in 1844. He died 1865 and was buried in Nashville National Cemetery in Davidson Co., Tn. (indicates he was an employee). His family is still in Meigs Co.in 1870. I suspect he is somehow connected to Jesse Martin b. 1777 Henry Co., Va. and his wife, Jane Hunter b. ca 1789 Va. Their children are in the area at the same time as Owen. They also are some of the only other Martins that I've seen with any children named Owen (they had a son named J. Wiley Owen).
