I am a descendent of a Simeon Baxter Martin but I am sure that he is not the one you are looking for. My Simeon Martin was married in South Carolina in 1821 to Mary Smyth. It is interesting though that there is a Sylvanus Martin who was Simeon's grandson. That is enough of a coincidence that I wonder if my Simeon Martin might be a relative of yours.
